Meet Hannah! One of Louisiana's finest graduates!! We had so much fun hanging out with her family. We flew in the night before the shoot, coming in from Memphis. (Btdubs Memphis, if you’re listening, Texas is still holding for best BBQ and definitely portions!) Hannah’s family insisted that we met them for dinner the night before! We sat there at the dinner table and chatted for hours. We discussed Down Syndrome, Louisiana customs, Celebrated Hannah and even made plans for after the shoot the following day because we had so much fun!
The day of the shoot came and Hannah and I stepped to the side for a short moment. Typical thing for me to find comfort with the client and build rapport. Hannah promised, PINKY PROMISED, to give me all she had during the shoot and did she?! We turned it all the way up, literally. Had the speaker booming and we were cutting up!
After the shoot we went to a crawfish festival and got to spend more time with Hannah and her family. Pretty sure we ate the festival out of house and home. After it was all said and done, Hannah’s father said while shaking my hand, “You ever come back to Louisiana, you be sure to call!” I said “you can bet your bottom dollar, Sir!”
A shoot for the books. One that won’t be forgotten any time soon. At least not in my lifetime. One day Izzy will grow older and will be considering college.
